Los Pirineos is a 130+ year, multi-generation farm run by Diego Baraona, perched at 1400m on a volcano. Its sunny days and constant cooling winds create ideal growing and drying conditions. The farm cultivates ~20 varieties (led by Bourbon and Pacamara) and operates a large experimental nursery.
“Elite” Bourbon is a washed coffee honoring the farm’s oldest Bourbon trees, tied to original Reunion Island genetics. Carefully pulped, washed, and dried on raised beds for ~45 days, it yields a balanced, sweet cup with rich fruit and depth.
